Job Type: Full-Time, between 30 and 60 hours per week, depending on the workload (we guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week)

Salary: $36.6/hr

Overtime: As per BC Employment Standards

Vacation: 4% of wage

To maintain our operational needs, we are currently looking for an experienced, motivated Truck Driver who will join our team.

The position requires operating 7-ton moving trucks with a 20-foot trailer behind.

Responsibilities:

Operate a truck between locations across Canada and the US as per the customer requirements;

Conduct pre- and post-truck inspections to ensure that all safety requirements are met;

Pack, physical load and unload furniture in a proper and secure way into the truck;

Keep all records of deliveries, working hours and required documentation;

Effectively communicate with clients, team members, and dispatchers regarding the delivery process and all possible issues that occur;

Adhere to all transportation regulations;

Perform similar duties as assigned, assisting clients with their needs during transportation.

Job Requirements:

●     Secondary school completion is required;

●     Driving license: Class 5 is required;

●     At least 2 years of experience in a similar role;

●     Medical check (covered by employer);

●     Criminal record check.
