Main duties
- Adding or replacing hydraulic and transmission fluids
- Assisting mechanics and performing other duties as directed
- Changing engine oil and lubricating running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment
- Greasing booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment
- Installing replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators
- Providing on-site services
- Repairing and balancing tires
- Replacing oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment
