Woodmac Inc., located at 879 Sweetwater Cres., in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking 1 experienced carpenter for commercial and residential construction. This is a permanent full-time position with an hourly wage of 32.50.

Skill Requirements:

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience:  Minimum 2-years experience

Work setting:

  • Commercial
  • Residential
  • Various locations within the Greater Toronto Area

Tasks:

Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight
steel and other materials
Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
